Still a favorite of mine. They've changed their menu around but still think it's one of my favorite restaurants in the city. And those are strong words coming from someone who doesn't so repeats often. Went with the chef tasting menu which gives you small bites of their popular dishes, and a few extra off menu dishes. Love not having to pick and choose, and they kinda do it for you. Also had a mezcal drink..which was divine as well. The standouts were the duck liver mousse! Would go through plates of that. The homemade spam fried rice. The sword fish which almost tasted like a chicken Katsu. Slightly breaded, tender and flavorful. The shrimp was spicy and delicious. The baked Alaska...is not something I would've normally ordered but it was actually so good. The sorbet inside was heavenly. Would keep coming back for their unique combinations and changes in menu. Thanks for taking space in SF food scene.

Surprise dinner here :) Didnt realize sister restaurant is the yummy Good Good Culture Club! Asian inspired flavors, the sweetest staff, and ambiance is just as modern and 'laxed as GGCC. We opted out of the pre fixe because we weren't that hungry, but everything we ordered was good! My personal favorite was the snap pea salad with black sesame hummus and brittle. The dressing was insanely delicious - I need to know how I can recreate this! Paired with the brittles in every bite to elevate the texture - genius! Parking is tricky since its on Sutter so plan ahead and make those reservations. Worth!

Came here for dinner on a weekday and ordered a few dishes to share amongst 2 people. We got the bao, asparagus and gulf shrimp as starters and the pork chop as entreee. The asparagus and bao were lovely and great as well as the pork chop. We got the baked Hawaii for dessert which we saw as the famous one and the chiffon cake inside had a hint of citrus which was nice! Overall though I felt this was a bit overpriced for the food that we got especially the portion sizes. It's definitely more upscale than the sister restaurant good good culture club!

Liholiho has been on my bucket list for years, we just never had the opportunity to actually come out. It was my birthday a few days ago and we finally were able to make a reservation to come - heads up that reservations can go fast and open up a month prior to the date at 10 pm. You can choose to order from their a la carte menu or do their pre-fixed. We decided to do the pre-fixed as we wanted to try a bunch of different things and there are some items on the pre-fix menu that are not on their regular menu. We got a few bites to start, then some apps, followed by the entrees, and dessert. There were so many interesting things we got to try, all of which were insanely delicious but our favorite had to have been the duck liver mousse on top of banana bread. You would never think that combo would be good but it was amazing. The banana bread wasn't like traditional, dense banana bread. It was light and crunchy and the sweetness balanced out the savoryness of the duck liver. Heaven. The sashimi with fresh orange slices on top was also a favorite of mine as it was both creamy and refreshing at the same time. We also tried a few different cocktails - the cocktails were worth trying, but my least favorite part of the meal. They are quite expensive and aim to be as unique as possible, but I honestly would have been happier with a traditional mai tai.

Five star experience all around. I have been coming here and leaving happy each time with exception to my wallet feeling lighter.

Price is not for the faint of heart!! But MAN do they give you an experience. The service was OUTSTANDING from the moment we sat down! The waiter provided plenty of appetizer and main course recommendations as well as a strong set of cocktail choices. Highlights were definitely the furikake chips and creamy ikura chive dip appetizer and the baked hawaii! Honorable mention for the swordfish katsu as it was way more tender than expected.

Had an AMAZING experience at Lihiliho Yact club - 10/10, and one of the best meals I've ever eaten in my life. Vibe of this restaurant is definitely upscale casual - you don't need to dress up to come here, but if you choose to you'll fit right in, and the food is divine. I was able to get a reservation at 5:00pm for bar seating in a Saturday, but luckily a table had opened up so we were seated there. Parking is typical for SF, there is a lot right across the restaurant with a flat rate of $20. Once we were seated, I will say that the service is immaculate. Waiters and waitresses were really well staffed. Once we were done with a plate, they'd come and pick it up within a minute! Everyone was also really kind and friendly, which made the whole experience lovely. FOOD wise: everything was so thoughtful and well presented. Since it was our first time, we opted for the $85/person tasting menu, which is a "let the chefs cook for you" option not listed on the menu. With this, we got 3 bites, 4 appetizers, 2 savory dishes and 2 sweet desserts - DEFINITELY worth your money and everything was delicious!! The style of food is Hawaiian/Japanese/Phillipine inspired, and it all comes together so well. My favorites (5/5 on ALL of these): Tuna poke, Philippine empanadas, Zuckerman's asparagus, spam and eggs, crispy noodle in oyster sauce, and swordfish katsu, baked Hawaiian. I'm definitely going to be back. Thanks Liholiho for an unforgettable experience!!

The last time we dined here was in 2018 and we are so excited to visit again after 6 years. We ordered two appetizers, two entrees and one dessert, which turn out to be a bit too much. The dish impresses us the most is Ukoy, a Filipino style "tempura". It's crispy and freshly fried with interesting seasoning that we never had before. The fried game hen is the second best and it's like extra crunchy fried chicken with unique seasons, and the best part is the corn bread to me because of its crispy buttery skin. The rest of the meals are good but not too amazing. The service definitely deserves star. The waiters are very friendly and they make you feel you are dining in star restaurant.
